FertiGel™ 1% is a topical transdermal testosterone gel containing 50 mg testosterone per 5 g sachet (10 mg testosterone per gram of gel). It is a Schedule H prescription drug indicated for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in adult males with confirmed hypogonadism.
Who is FertiGel™ 1% indicated for?
FertiGel™ 1% is indicated for adult males with primary or secondary hypogonadism (pituitary/testicular), late-onset hypogonadism (andropause), androgen deficiency symptoms (fatigue, reduced libido, erectile dysfunction), delayed puberty, post-orchiectomy testosterone deficiency, and as supportive therapy in specific infertility and metabolic conditions related to low testosterone.
How is FertiGel™ 1% applied?
Apply once daily to clean, dry, intact skin of the shoulders, upper arms or abdomen, as directed by the prescribing physician. Allow the gel to dry for 5–10 minutes before dressing. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after application. Avoid skin-to-skin contact with women and children at the application site for at least 2 hours after application.
What is the recommended dosage?
Recommended starting dose: one 5 g sachet (50 mg testosterone) applied once daily, as prescribed by your physician. Dose may be adjusted based on serum testosterone levels and clinical response. Always follow the prescribing clinician's instructions.
